Saunders Trades & Technical High School applies strong importance on literature and the writing process. Teachers develop thematic units supported by diverse reading materials and the school provides students with the opportunity to create their own bound books. This enhances their skills in planning, writing, editing and drawing. The Saunders School community takes pride in accomplishments of the district and its educational advancements. The district itself prides itself on working with parents, staff, and the community to make certain that each child understands that learning is not only in the classroom but extends to many activities throughout their lives.
Saunders Trades & Technical High School students are learning architecture, engineering construction, surveying, landscape design, and estimating and facilities management. Technology is at the top of the list of studies, to ensure every student can and will attain their full potential in every field of study. Parents of students attending Saunders School are appreciative of the excellent teachers, the high standards of the district, and the curriculum of the school.
