Good values are being taught through the cooperative effort of the students, staff, and community, Saint Joseph's Elementary School provides a healthy, supportive environment, which prepares students for the future and life long learning.

Based on the belief that all students can learn and achieve, the Educational Community of St. Joseph's school accepts the responsibility to teach fundamental skills, regardless of differences. We further accept the responsibility to assist all students to acquire knowledge and to obtain the highest levels of achievement consistent with their learning potential. Staff and parents will provide the opportunity and positive environment necessary to develop each student academically, physically, socially, emotionally and culturally.

St. Joseph's Academy existed as a parochial high school under the direction of the Ursuline Sisters until 1976. St. Joseph's Community School became a part of the Malone Central School District in September of 1976. It originally housed students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. However, over the years the elementary grade configuration has changed a number of times. Presently, it is the home of students in Grades 3 - 5.
