Sagamore Middle School Board actively works with various goals for ensuring the best education while providing a safe nurturing environment for all students; Goals include financial, instructional, facilities, personnel, and community. With all staff, teachers, administrators, parents, and the community working together, Sagamore Middle School endeavors to prepare students for life. Sagamore Middle School notes improved self-esteem and social skills of its students: Many of the activities start out very simple and can work-up in difficulty based on the student’s ability. This provides a feeling of success for each student which positively affects their self-esteem. A strong emphasis is also placed on being competitive and giving your best but also accepting the outcome while showing respect for others. Through improved self-esteem and an enhancement in motor skills Sagamore students will further appreciate a more physically active lifestyle.
