Roosevelt School realizes the special nature of the young child; Teachers at Roosevelt School are committed to providing for each student: A developmentally appropriate program to reach the highest possible level of his/her academic performance. Roosevelt teachers are always striving to meet the academic, developmental, and social needs of early adolescents, interdisciplinary teams at the middle school work closely with students, providing them appropriate support and a nurturing environment in which to grow.
Roosevelt School curriculum supports and advocates for high quality, professional opportunities for our faculty and staff to continue to develop the learners. Additional responsibilities include overseeing all components of a quality district-wide curriculum, the New York State assessment and reporting requirements, and the management of federal and state grants.
