Robert Seaman Elementary School Students are involved in exciting field trips and a world language exploratory program. Numerous special events such as Parents as Reading Partners Week, Circus Week, and cultural arts presentations all enhance the Robert Seaman experience for each student. The classic themes of respect, responsibility, kindness, and cooperation are integrated into all aspects of the Robert Seaman curriculum. Teachers all understand the importance of establishing a climate to learn where students are able to attain academic success because they are comfortable socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
Student government, peer mediation, chorus, Field Day, and Parents as Reading Partners (PARP) week are some of the annual traditions and special programs in which the students are involved. Their technology lab allows students to integrate the world of technology into their daily learning as well. Robert Seaman offers many after school clubs for students each year. Another important facet of Robert Seaman is community service. Through our PTA, grade-level events, and Student Council, we promote ways to help our community exemplify good citizenship.
