Riverhead Charter School teachers work with children in a one on one manner to help their students in the areas of physical science, earth and space science, life science, and science and technology. Parents are an important part of the school community and the teacher recognize that children achieve to their best ability when parents and teachers work together. Consistent communication between school and home is encouraged and supported. They use the Delta Education science program; students will also learn a second language. Riverhead Charter School has limited class size and a low ratio of students to instructors, each child at the school benefits from individualized attention. By providing learning experiences in both large and small groups, our teachers seek to meet each child’s individual learning needs.
