Ps/Ms 29 Melrose School Parents work in their child’s classroom regularly during Parent and Child Together (P.A.C.T.) time, and during family events. Weekly family themes, such as respect, effort and perseverance, incorporate good citizenship skills into the academic program higher order thinking skills and problem solving are integrated into instruction. Students will be respectful and responsible, smile at least once a day and to know that to succeed, it is up to me. The Melrose School Instructional program builds on the role of the parent as the child’s first teacher strengthening the bond between the home and school enhances the child’s potential for success.
