P.S. 99 Isaac Asimov School makes use of developed age-appropriate integrated learning experiences for the center that are linked with the New York State Learning Standards. Their work included marking of nature trails, exhibits, field guides, exploratory activities, and teacher training. Isaac Asimov School also focuses on the early literacy and language arts skills of the youngest students, ensuring their ability to read, write and think critically in all curricular areas including math, science, social studies, art, music, library skills, and physical education. The teachers are dedicated to creating a child-centered, family-oriented and nurturing atmosphere for all children. The identification of individual learning styles and independent thinking is fostered.
