P.S. 96 Joseph C. Lanzetta School students are learning basic educational skills in math, reading, science, social studies, music, art, and computer. Technology is always being advanced here to ensure students can and will achieve their full potential in every field of study. In the primary grades, these types of opportunities continue, gaining depth with each year. In the upper grades, children explore a variety of literature, gain in-depth knowledge about many scientific topics, and math skills that are in-line with state standards and assessments. The social studies curriculum centers on democracy, citizenship, and the history of the United States, New York State, and cultures around the world. School primary program introduces children to their library and to a collection of literature appropriate to their ages and interest.
