Erie County Health Care for Children

About  
P.S. 84 is located at 462 Grider Street Buffalo, NY. The staff at P.S. 84 is committed to providing a well rounded curriculum designed to meet the needs and interests of our students. Education at this school starts at grade level 7 and continues through the 12th in Erie County, of New York State.

The assistive technology team uses both high and low technology for students with disabilities. High technology involves computers and other sophisticated electronic equipment. Low technology relies on solutions using mechanical principles requiring simple tools and easy-to-find materials.

P.S. 84 takes pride in being in the forefront of our field and meticulously carrying out the mandates to provide assistive technology devices and services under the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Leaders in the assistive technology field have presented in services for our staff and the community at School #84. They are also proud that members of our team are adjunct professors at the State University of New York at Buffalo and are asked to lecture at other universities as well.
