P.S. 59 Dr. Charles R. Drew Science Magnet - Museum Site is located at 1 Ml King Jr Park Buffalo, NY. This New York State School is committed to providing a well rounded curriculum designed to meet the needs and interests of our students. Education at this school starts at grade level PK and continues through the 8th in Erie County, of New York State. Just recently the school began the Princeton Review after-school program which provides students assistance in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math. The program runs from 3:30 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday.

The mission of the Charles R. Drew Science Magnet is to prepare responsible, self-directed citizens who are life-long learners. P.S. 59 provide students with the skills to read on grade level and graduate from eighth grade by offering a standards-based curriculum. The staff will accomplish this mission by supporting the needs of each student using the experienced-based, technologically enhanced approach, sharing resources with the Buffalo Museum of Science and the Buffalo Zoological Gardens.
