P.S. 5 Dr. Ronald E. Mcnair School has develop a more rigorous mathematics, science and/or technology curricula that are integrated and aligned with State and local academic content standards and with the standards expected for postsecondary study in engineering, mathematics, and science. P.S. 5 School is teaching good values through the cooperative effort of the students, staff, and community, and the school provides a healthy, supportive environment, which prepares students for the future and life long learning. Recognizing the individuality of each person, they maintain high expectations for all. They strive to build pride, self-esteem, and respect in order to produce well-educated, responsible citizens. Students learn in a well maintained facility; a rich technology environment and the school provide a wide range of opportunities. The school is very fortunate to have such dedicated staff members who care about each other and each child.
