P.S. 335 Granville T. Woods School curriculum is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and enriched by an innovative reading series and technology instructions. The staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students. The staff works collaboratively to provide appropriate learning experiences that will contribute to the needs of each child in all areas of development socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. P.S. 335 curriculum includes language arts and developmentally appropriate skills in math, science, technology, social studies, the fine arts, and health. Each student will have experiences in drafting, revising, editing, and publishing both original and assigned writing pieces. The health curriculum helps students work towards achieving a healthy lifestyle by providing current and age-appropriate information. The curriculum prepares students for a lifetime of good health while developing their life skills and building good character.
