Ps 308 Clara Cardwell School technology is focused on providing high-quality learning resources in all classrooms and facilitating communication between all learners. The efforts of the reading program are based on the following beliefs: all students will experience success, reading is a life-long skill, and reading is fun. The reading specialist works closely with the classroom teacher to best meet the individual needs of the child. The support can be provided in several ways. Ps 308 comprehensive academic programs provide each student with a strong foundation in the core curricula areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning.
