P.S. 214 works to build a foundation for each student to attain the highest possible level of academic, social, physical and emotional development. Accepting the premise that all children can learn, our school community will provide a supportive environment which will nurture and encourage thinking, learning and creating. Each child will leave the building with a sense of success, achievement and high self-esteem. P.S. 214 is technology driven and strive to provide the best and most current technology, standards and equipment, for the educational development of students and tools for the teachers and staff. Through community effort, staff, teachers, and family P.S. 214 strives to provide a safe and caring learning environment for each and every student, so they can achieve the best education possible. Through numerous activities with a focus on community service, their Student Organization helps to sustain a strong school spirit. They offer a variety of after school activities which give each student an opportunity to participate.
