P.S. 197 The Ocean School is located at 825 Hicksville Road Far Rockaway, NY providing education in Queens County to grades PK-6. This New York School is supervised and regulated by New York City District #27 community and Officials. At this school Mathematic programs take a balanced approach, focusing on what students need to know, and the processes and skills necessary to reason, solve problems, and think critically. The use of technology applications will deepen student engagement and improve student achievement by enabling them to access and analyze information, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their thoughts and ideas.
