P.S. 188 Michael E. Berdy School will develop the skills necessary to be competent, caring, and responsible members of society. Students will display strong moral character, high self-esteem and the self motivation necessary to achieve high levels of academic success with the ability to meet the challenges of the future. In addition, this mission is best accomplished through the celebration of achievement in all areas of childhood development. The staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. There are several different cultures and religions attending P.S. 188 School so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching these future adults by preparing them for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects.
