P.S. 177 Marlboro School students will develop the skills necessary to be competent, caring, and responsible members of society. Students will display strong moral character, high self-esteem and the self motivation necessary to achieve high levels of academic success with the ability to meet the challenges of the future. In addition, this mission is best accomplished through the celebration of achievement in all areas of childhood development. . Educational programs and services are designed to meet the varying needs of all students and will not discriminate against any individual for reasons of race, creed, color, gender, national origin, economic status or handicap. Teachers work to ensure early literacy and language arts skills of the youngest students, ensuring their ability to read, write and think critically in all curricular areas including math, science, social studies, art, music, library skills, and physical education.
