P.S. 112 Jose C. Barbosa School materials are all focused on Phonics based approach that introduces the students to classic and award winning children's literature to enhance their writing skills and verbal language. Students also have a physical education program, library program, and music program. The School staff works diligently to develop a stimulating and dynamic curriculum that addresses the new State standards in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Support for those students in need is provided through after-school programs, mentoring, and tutoring. Enrichment programs are provided for all students, expanding their knowledge and skills. The library and computer rooms are sources of information that enhance each child’s educational experience through technology.
