Port Jefferson Middle School has accelerated courses in mathematics and science. Enrichment is available in mathematics and English Language Arts as well as interdisciplinary programs such as Humanities Challenge and Research. Students are able to receive extra support through our mathematics, English Language Arts and reading labs. The school wishes all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. They are a community of learners, students, faculty and staff, parents and administrators who welcome questions, support investigation, and celebrate difference.
