Polk Street School officials believe that Learning seems to come in spurts and be followed by periods of strengthening through practice. Children's growth and development follow reasonably predictable patterns; however, parents should not compare one child with any other child, be it a sibling, friend, or relative.
The faculty and staff provide a challenging curriculum, a warm and supportive learning environment, and many enriching experiences for all of the students. Many unique and rewarding field trips in all grade levels enhance what students learn in the classroom.
