Pleasantville High School the staff and teachers work very hard to incorporate literacy learning in all areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. They know workings together to achieve their vision and goals for the students are the biggest concerns. Parents who have a child attending this school enjoy the quality of teachers, the principal, extracurricular activities, safety, and discipline. Pleasantville High School continues to focus on literacy and language arts skills of the students, ensuring their ability to read, write and think critically in all curricular areas including math, science, social studies, art, music, library skills, and physical education.

The physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning. Officials at the school encourage parents to get involved and acknowledge it’s a very important aspect for parents to stay tuned into what’s going on with their child’s school and education.
