Pioneer Senior High School is located at 12125 County Line Road Yorkshire, NY. Education is provided for grades 9th through 12th for the community of Yorkshire in Cattaraugus County. There is a variety of Student Athletics programs, in the fall its, Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Soccer, and Tennis. Winter season sports include Basketball, Wrestling, and Bowling. Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Golf, Power lifting, and Track are played in the spring time. The priority at Pioneer Senior High School is to create opportunities for you to meet the standards for graduation and to be successful in life.
Key studies include language, math, art, technology programs, and an innovative music program. Policies of the School are set forth and advise students, parents, employees and the general public that it offers employment and educational opportunities, including vocational education opportunities without regard to sex, race, color, national origin or handicap. The community stays very involved and works with the teaching staff to ensure excellence in teaching methods and standards for every student who attends for their educational facility.
Regent's diplomas are awarded when students pass five Regent's examinations in English, Math, Global History, US History and a Regent's Science exam. Students must also complete 22 units of credits, three (3) units in both Math and Science.
