The Philip Livingston Magnet Academy, which is one of the city’s three public middle schools. This school provides education for grades 6-8 . Students attending this school have an experience unlike many other middle schoolers as the school is surrounding by trees and athletic fields. In fact, the Tivoli Lakes Park, which is an urban wildlife preserve, is right behind the school’s property. Not only is the exterior environment top notch, but so is the interior. There is a Library Media center with many resources, indoor athletic facilities, and a computer lab, a large auditorium in addition to a drama and dance studio. This academy is topnotch and it focuses on providing a top of the line education to its students.
