The Philip J. Schuyler Achievement Academy is located at 676 Clinton Ave. and is part of the City School District of Albany. This achievement academy was renovated and was reopened in 2004 to students in grades pre-K through 5. The City School District of Albany’s plan to renew and expand the schools in the district resulted in the Philip J. Schuyler Achievement Academy being a smaller environment where students could learn more in a space that was personalized for learning. The security of this new school as well as its small classrooms makes it easier for students to learn and mature on a social and academic level.
