Pelham Prep Academy teachers are decisively devoted to the emotional, academic and social development of each individual child. The purpose of this school is to nurture each student's unique potential, enabling them to become life long learners. Literacy is at the heart of all programs and activities emphasizing written and spoken language, mathematics and the arts in a literature-based format across all areas of the curriculum. Students attending will become aware of their responsibilities in a larger global community and will be academically prepared for a successful future. The staff and teachers strive to create a learning environment that will promote self worth, respect for others, and the appreciation of learning. Along with this, the teachers and staff are committed to professionalism while creating an educational atmosphere that listens to students with values that offer communication and support. The community spirit has promoted a sense of commitment to the school district, which serves as a community center and a source of pride for all, including senior citizens and other local residents.
