Paul Road School is located at 571 Paul Road Rochester, NY. This public school is situated in Monroe County, New York and provides education for grades K through 5 to the Community of Rochester. Paul Road School applies modern teaching methods that are approved by the New York State Board of education to ensure each student receives the best education possible.
Paul Road School curriculum and instruction has earned us the recognition by the New York State Education Department for the third year in a row as a High Achieving/Gap Closing School. This could not have been accomplished without the hard work of over 60 teachers and paraprofessional staff working in concert with a dedicated group of family volunteers who offer key support in the classrooms, library, reading room or copy center. Our volunteers also invest their time serving on the School Improvement Team, Paul Road School and Family Association, Art Awareness Committee and various other fund-raising committees designed to complement our rigorous curriculum.
Fund-raising efforts are focusing on end-of-the-year field trips and an exciting, new playground to be constructed behind the Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms. Expected for a 2009 completion date, this will be a playground engineered especially for our youngest climbers, grippers, jumpers and athletes.
The school offers students a variety of fun, engaging and interactive activities in Music, Art, Health, Library and service learning. In addition, we offer an engaging physical education and intramural program beyond the traditional school day.
