Park Avenue School has a very active and supportive PTA and parents are strongly encouraged to be partners in the child’s education. Through their collective efforts, they strive to empower all students to be confident, passionate learners who lead their lives with integrity. Through the PTA, parents organize a variety of cultural arts programs, which support and complement the school curriculum. They also plan many other special events and fundraising activities throughout the school year. Park Avenue has placed particular focus on reading and communication skills, along with math. Technology is seen as a vehicle to support and extend student learning in these and all other areas of the curriculum. The use of technology tools will be focused on the development of higher level analyses, evaluation, communications, and presentation and decision-making skills.
