North Junior High School is located at 301 Robinson Avenue Newburgh, NY and it serves grades 7-9 in Orange County. The community of North Junior High School believes that our students, regardless of their previous educational experiences, will be provided with an opportunity to pursue academic, emotional and humanistic goals. We accept the challenge and responsibility to provide a safe educational environment that will assist our students to become productive citizens of the global community.
This School has a very active Parent Teacher Association. The school encourages all to join and participate. Funds raised are used to provide the students with a plenty of field trips, school events, and educational/cultural programs. Students work individually at their own pace to improve writing and reading. Through the use of multi- sensory phonic based software, students improve their skills. Students use six computerized hands- on learning stations that are enjoyable and educationally effective.
The North Junior High School Community supports a humanistic philosophy that asserts the dignity and worth of the student, whose capacity for self-realization is limitless.
