North Elementary School is located at 171 East Hoard Street Watertown, NY. This Public School provides education to grades PK through 3 for the community of Watertown, New York in Jefferson County.
An abundance of special services are delivered by certified reading specialists, special education teachers, a school counselor, a school psychologist, a school social worker, and a full-time registered nurse. Even further, teaching assistants and teacher aides provide additional instruction and assistance to augment the instructional program at all grade levels.
At North Elementary School, the safety and security of our students is our very highest priority. Second to that priority is the development of each student’s literacy skills. We believe that once achieving a sound ability to read, write, speak and listen, students will be more successful learners in all other subject areas.
North Elementary School has many students who come to us from various places in the world. As facilitators of learning, North Elementary School teachers use a variety of strategies to enhance academic achievement, address the diverse needs of students, and maintain a favorable learning environment that provides each student an opportunity to apply that knowledge.
