Newburgh Prekindergarten Center is located at 191 Washington Street Newburgh, NY and it serves grades PK in Orange County. At Newburgh Prekindergarten Center the staff and teachers work very hard to incorporate literacy learning in all areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. They know working together to achieve their vision and goals for the students are the biggest concern.
This School has a very active Parent Teacher Association. The school encourages all to join and participate. Funds raised are used to provide the students with a plenty of field trips, school events, and educational/cultural programs. Students work individually at their own pace to improve writing and reading. Through the use of multi- sensory phonic based software, students improve their skills. Students use six computerized hands- on learning stations that are enjoyable and educationally effective.
