Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School is part of the Albany City School District and is located at 100 Elbel Court in Albany. This middle school offers education to students in 6th through 8th grades in a new three story building with more than 140,000 square feet. The school was renovated as part of the city’s plan to create learning environments for students that were stronger, smaller, and safer. Children from all over Albany are eligible to attend the middle school however these children are randomly selected. A computerized lottery is used to select students. Siblings of children enrolled in the school will receive preference as long as those children attend the school at the same time and live in the same home.
