Morse Young Child Magnet School is located at 101 Mansion Street Poughkeepsie, NY.This public school is committed to the success of each child to learn in a safe, supportive, environment. It offers excellent educational opportunities for students in K through 3 grades in Dutchess County, New York. Students who attend enjoy building lifelong bonds with classmates, teachers, staff, and their own community.

Students work individually at their own pace to improve writing and reading. Through the use of multi- sensory phonic based software, students improve their skills. Students use six computerized hands- on learning stations that are enjoyable and educationally effective.

The discipline of art, music and literature are incorporated into the curriculum. Morse students are provided with a variety of performances, field trips and multicultural events held during the year. The music program at Morse School performs a number of grade level musical concerts throughout the school year.

Morse Young Child Magnet School has a very active Parent Teacher Association. The school encourages all to join and participate. Funds raised are used to provide our students with a plethora of field trips, school events, and educational/cultural programs.
