Minnesauke Elementary School teachers have received extensive training in balanced literacy instruction. Their approach to literacy includes instruction in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Teachers have also been provided extensive training in differentiated instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. Minnesauke Elementary is committed to seek ways to reduce the amount of paper that is sent home. As such, the school and PTA notices will be posted on the Parent Portal through Infinite Campus. Student’s behavior, work habits and attitudes are reinforced with parental cooperation and involvement will be fostered through open communication while achieving and complying with district initiatives.
