Minerva DeLand School opened in September 1959. The school now includes 25 classrooms, a library media center, an art room, a photography dark room, a music room, 3 instrumental music lessons rooms, gym area, locker rooms, a pool, a learning center, 2 resource rooms, 3 computer labs, technology workroom, main office, guidance office, health office, a guidance suite, psychologist's office, social worker's office, 5 departmental workrooms, faculty lounge, staff workroom, newly-renovated auditorium, cafeteria, and athletic fields.
