Midwood High School is Situated in District 22, the school number 405, Midwood High School serves students attending grades 09, 10, 11, 12 and SE with a curriculum that sticks to the New York State learning standards including Art, Foreign Language, Math, Science, Technology, Health, Physic Education, Social Studies and Career Development and Occupational Studies, although its curriculum also include Athletics, Biology, English, Physical Science, Special Education, Music and Fine Arts.
There are also 35 non-athletic activities and clubs that are part of extracurricular activities such as marching bands, chorus, concerts, band, SING, peer mediation, drama, art, math clubs, student government, Black Heritage Alliance, Asian Society, and over 20 varsity/J.V. teams such as baseball, football, tennis, swim, track and lacrosse.
Midwood High School special programs cover 14 academic areas including peer tutoring, vocal and instrumental music program, research in social and natural sciences and a gifted and talented honors program in humanities and medical science.
