Michael F. Stokes School has 29 classroom teachers, 6 special education teachers, 2 reading teachers, 1 writing teacher, 2 physical education teachers, 1 classroom music teacher, 2 instructional music teachers (one for band, one for orchestra), 1 librarian, 1 art teacher, 2 speech therapists, 1 school counselor, 1 school nurse and 1 computer aide. In addition, we have many aides who work in our inclusion classes and provide extra support to struggling readers. Michael F. Stokes School rallies around the educational philosophy to encourage the development of critical thinking, self esteem, and responsible people of tomorrow. In addition, they are committed to having high expectations for students to excel in learning.
