The High School offers many college level courses and is the proud developers of the Teacher Academy, which allows future educators college level courses while in High School at reduced tuition rates.
All teachers attend training sessions in computer education, professional renewal, and curriculum management.
These programs are offered by the District, the local Teacher Center and Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). You will find technology is integrated throughout all areas of the curriculum which is a critical component of an engaged learning environment. Medina High School curriculum documents provide the space for a tie between technology use and existing classroom instruction, but there is a need to ensure that all students are provided equal opportunity to use technology as a tool for learning.
Key studies include language, math, art, technology programs, and an innovative music program. Policies of the School are set forth and advise students, parents, employees and the general public that it offers employment and educational opportunities, including vocational education opportunities without regard to sex, race, color, national origin or handicap. The community stays very involved and works with the teaching staff to ensure excellence in teaching methods and standards for every student who attends for their educational facility.
