Massapequa High School

About
Massapequa High School excels in the Fine Arts department, with numerous concerts and art exhibits held throughout the year. Massapequa music department sends the most talented musicians to state and nation wide events each year. Outside of the core academic state mandated classes and extra curricular activities; Massapequa High School provides a number of interesting electives for the students to take. Darkrooms, broadcasting recording studios, video editing software, culinary facilities and a mock court room are among many of the diverse outlets students can utilize to explore different fields of interest.

The athletic program also offers a variety of sports ranging from Varsity Basketball to intramural dodge ball. Each year many of these athletic teams including, soccer, baseball, basketball and field hockey reach county and sometimes state level championships. Many of our athletes achieve "scholar athlete" status, as recognized by New York State.
