Maryvale Middle School is located at 1050 Maryvale Drive in Cheektowaga, New York. Parents, staff, and the community are pride of the excellent education provided by Maryvale Middle School for students in 6th through 8th grades.
The Mission Statement of the Maryvale Middle School is:
"In a safe and nurturing environment, Maryvale Middle School is dedicated to providing the opportunities and skills necessary for students to achieve academic success; to become life-long learners of good character; and, to grow into productive members of society in an ever-changing world."
Students in 6th grade are working on becoming independent workers while attaining the knowledge, skills, and responsibilities needed to be successful in the middle and high schools. The goal set forth for 6th graders at Maryvale Middle School is to aid students in their success. Character First Challenge is an activity that challenges each student to do extremely well in behavior, attendance, academics, volunteer work, and after school activities while rewarding them for their success.
7th graders at Maryvale Middle School enjoy along with their basic courses several outdoor educational trips such as to Camp Wyomoco located in Varysburg, New York.
8th graders are preparing for their last year in middle school and looking ahead to their high school years. The goal of the 8th grade is for all students to be successful.
