Maryvale Intermediate School is located at 1050 Maryvale Drive in Cheektowaga, New York. The school provides an education for students in 3rd through 5th grades. The Maryvale Intermediate School is dedicated to providing a secure and organized educational environment that will allow our students, staff, and community members to grow as accountable, productive, and involved citizens.
Along with their dedication to the students, the school offers a climate of mutual respect and dignity that promotes learning in a safe environment.
Third graders at Maryvale Intermediate School are provided with written and oral directions to aid each student in developing higher order thinking in which to build strong understanding of concepts in all subjects. In writing, they utilize the 6 Traits of Writing along with proper mechanics, grammar, and spelling.
During the fourth grade, students are quickly growing academically, socially, and physically. The teachers work with each student as they become more aware of the world around them while providing them with all the educational tools needed to succeed.
Fifth grade is the last grade prior to middle school. During this year, students will become prepared for their next step in education while learning to work more independently.
