Lynbrook South Middle School students will experience a rich curriculum which embodies the New York State standards while teaching to both the academic and social sides of children. Reading, writing, arithmetic, social studies, science, the arts, differentiated instruction, plus character education are daily happenings. The school teaches children to respect different viewpoints, while learning to trust one another. Both staff and parents work together to improve the educational experience of the children and help to make the school community an exciting place to learn. The academic programs at Lynbrook South Middle are in alignment with the New York State Learning Standards and district curricula goals.
