Lynbrook North Middle School extracurricular activities span before and after the daily school programs and include reading and mathematics, project arts, athletics, fitness and other supplemental programs. The School continues to provide for additional work in the area of literacy and reading instruction. The emphasis will be on active reading in particular literal comprehension skills, inferential comprehension and rhetorical awareness. The staff knows that learning has changed with the rapid advancement of technology, so they know education today will requires significantly different knowledge and skills than previous generations. Students must be educated to know how to learn, solve problems, and make decisions in fast changing environment.
