Lyme Central School is located at 11868 Academy Street Chaumont, NY and provides quality education for grades K through 12 for the community of Chaumont. Through an on going set of courses guided by the state board, all district schools encourage excellence and achievement in students, participating in active hands-on learning activities. Additionally, all children are challenged to use their unique higher order thinking abilities and skills.
Lyme Central School makes every attempt is made to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. The school works alongside staff, parents, and students to achieve greater success in all fields of study while providing a friendly atmosphere for students to learn. Lyme Central School believes in working with the whole child and strives to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive time of the student’s development that will allow all students to achieve to the best of their abilities. When students at Poland Junior-Senior High School advance to the high school level, they have positive self-esteem, self-respect, and self-confidence.
