Longwood Junior High School services a broad base of area communities which includes Middle Island, Yaphank, Coram, Gordon Heights, Ridge, North Shirley, and even parts of North Medford, and South Shoreham. The staff is professional when it comes to expertise, professionalism, and dedication to the academic, social, and emotional development of all students attending their school. Students at Longwood Junior High School learn the importance of good citizenry, recognizing differences, and the importance of caring for others. The teachers strive to encourage the growth of each student to ensure self-confidence and pride in their accomplishments, so each student can become productive members of their community and society.
