East Elementary School starts with an all-day kindergarten and continues through fifth grade. Racial, ethnic and geographic balance is maintained in the elementary schools. This creates a learning environment in which people of different backgrounds and cultures grow together, enriched by the diversity of the community's population. East Elementary School has many students who come to us from various places in the world. As facilitators of learning, East Elementary School teachers use a variety of strategies to enhance academic achievement, address the diverse needs of students, and maintain a favorable learning environment that provides each student an opportunity to apply that knowledge.
