Little Britain Elementary School is located at 1160 Lttle Britn Road New Windsor, NY and it serves grades K-5 in Orange County. The school continues to ensure all students are learning in a healthy and safe environment. Its educational plans are directed and governed by the Washingtonville Central School District Board of Education. The Washingtonville School District continues to support and promote student success and achievement as well as student innovation and creativity.
The surrounding community is made up of both friendly and supportive parents that desire a quality education for their children and remain very active with the PTA to ensure learning excellence. With teachers and staff adhering to the philosophy “that all children can learn” coupled together with supportive parents the Hilton High School provides a tremendous learning opportunity for education.
Little Britain Elementary School curriculum coordinators work closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
The physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning.
