Lancaster Middle School is located at 148 Aurora Street Lancaster, NY. Lancaster Middle School provides education to grades 7 through 8 under the supervision of the Lancaster Central School District Board of Education. The School Board consists of seven members, elected at-large, by the voters of the district. Lancaster Middle School is located in Erie County, in Western New York State, about eleven miles east of downtown Buffalo.
Lancaster Middle provides a standards-based curriculum, which emphasizes the mastery of skills assessed by New York State. The development of respect and acceptance of diverse cultures, will offer all the students a solid opportunity for life long success.
Students will read and listen to oral, written and electronically produced texts and performances, relate texts and performances to their own lives, and develop an understanding of the diverse social, historical, and cultural dimensions the texts and performances represent. As speakers and writers, students will use oral and written language for self-expression and artistic creation.
