Lancaster High School is located at 1 Forton Drive Lancaster, NY. Lancaster High School provides education to grades 9 through 12 under the supervision of the Lancaster Central School District Board of Education. The School Board consists of seven members, elected at-large, by the voters of the district. Lancaster High is located in Erie County, in Western New York State, about eleven miles east of downtown Buffalo.
Lancaster High School makes a continuous commitment to implementing technology equally to for all users. This commitment is evident in the distribution of resources throughout the grade levels. Measures are taken to ensure that all buildings and secondary departments contain similar software and hardware. Filtered Internet access is available on all workstations.
All workstations run Windows XP operating system with Internet Explorer as a web browser. Software is standardized across the district and grade levels. Applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite which includes Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher, Adobe Reader, and Lotus Notes are installed district wide. Subject or Grade Level software requests follow a specific recommendation procedure to assure equitable distribution of resources.
