Lackawanna Middle School is located at 550 Martin Road Lackawanna, NY. This New York State Middle School is located in Erie County, New York, and provides education for grades 7 through 8. Lackawanna Middle School is committed to the mission of providing every student with the educational opportunities needed to be productive citizens in our ever-changing society. Lackawanna Middle School students receive a solid foundation in English, mathematics, social studies, and science. Students participate in a balanced, varied curriculum that exposes them to art, music, foreign language, physical education, health, technology, and home and career skills.

This ensures that middle level students are able to meet state English language arts and mathematics standards and state and federal assessment requirements, Lackawanna Middle School provides extended English and mathematics periods and English as a second language. Academic intervention services are provided for students having difficulty in English and mathematics. After-school activities develop leadership and community service skills as well as reinforcing and extending language and mathematics skills.

One of the greatest strengths of Lackawanna Middle School is its diversity, both ethnically, socio-economically, and culturally. The school celebrates this diversity and learns to value and respect the cultural heritage that each child brings to our school.
