Lackawanna Middle School is committed to the mission of providing every student with the educational opportunities needed to be productive citizens in our ever-changing society. Lackawanna Middle School students receive a solid foundation in English, mathematics, social studies, and science. Students participate in a balanced, varied curriculum that exposes them to art, music, foreign language, physical education, health, technology, and home and career skills.
This ensures that middle level students are able to meet state English language arts and mathematics standards and state and federal assessment requirements, Lackawanna Middle School provides extended English and mathematics periods and English as a second language. Academic intervention services are provided for students having difficulty in English and mathematics.
